How We Work
COAD88 EVAC PLAN manages the complete process—from reviewing your building information and assessing evacuation routes to preparing and supplying the finished diagrams.
1. Send Us Your Details
Provide your building address, available floor plans, existing diagrams and the number of locations requiring diagrams. We will review the information and prepare a quote.
2. Site Visit or Plan Review
We confirm whether the project can be completed remotely or requires a site inspection. Where needed, we assess the layout, exits, fire-safety equipment, evacuation routes and proposed diagram locations.
3. Drafting and Review
We prepare the diagrams for each display location and send them to you for review. Any required corrections are completed before final production.
4. Supply and Installation
Final diagrams can be supplied digitally or professionally printed and framed. Installation is available across Melbourne and for larger projects throughout most of regional Victoria.
What Is Included on an Evacuation Diagram?
An evacuation diagram provides occupants and visitors with clear visual information for leaving a facility during an emergency.
Depending on the building and its emergency arrangements, the diagram may show:

Five-Year Review
Under AS 3745, evacuation diagrams must be reviewed and revalidated at intervals not exceeding five years—even when no obvious changes have been made to the building.
